It is a legal solution recognised by Belgian authorities: the address appears in the articles of association, at the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (CBE) and on your commercial documents. In Belgium, every company must have a registered office, i.e. an official address stated in its articles of association and registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises. Domiciliation is a perfectly legal way to establish that office, provided a few principles are respected.
The Code of Economic Law (notably article III.16) requires every company registered with the CBE to declare an establishment address. The registered office is that reference address, enforceable against the authorities and third parties.
Domiciliation must rely on a written agreement with the provider making the address available. This agreement governs the use of the address and mail management, and serves as proof when registering with the CBE.
